Our Christmas

This year Justin was so excited for Santa to come. All he wanted was a toy gun and a flashlight. Justin woke up at 4:30 Christmas morning and he wouldn't go back to sleep. So after an hour we decided to open up gifts. Justin was so excited Santa brought what he wanted and a couple of extra things!

This year we spent the night at Grandma and Grandpas house....the kids definitely had a ball!!! We love grandmas fudge, candies, and her great decorations in her house! We are grateful to live so close to them. We feel bad grandma and grandpa had to wake up so early!

Swim Lessons

I decided that Justin needed something to do instead of being cooped up in our house all winter. So I decided to sign him up for swim lessons. Even though he dreaded going, it was good for me to get a little break.

He only had fun at his last class and didn't cry the whole time because he knew he was going to get a treat from his teacher.

My 9 monther!

9 MONTHS

Santa Clause

Justin's first experience with Santa Clause:

Justin was so excited to see Santa Clause at the mall.
As we stood in line, he would continue to wave to him and say. "Hi Santa"
When we finally got up to him, Justin was so excited that he ran to give him a hug and a little pad on the back.
Santa Clause thought he was trying run up to tear off his beard and jerked back got a little mad at him.
Side note: Before we saw Santa, Justin got into a water pond in the mall and his pants were a little damp. I forgot he was a little wet and when he sat on Santa, again he got a little mad at me and said "Your kid is wet, why is he wet." I felt embarrassed and apologized.
After that, I got the impression he was ready for us to go so we left.
Justin thought it was the greatest thing to see Santa..I guess because he got a sucker at the end.
Hopefully Santa will still bring us presents:-)

Funny Family Quotes/ Things we do

Brookie found a pad of mine and she comes up to me and says mom look I found a diaper for my baby:-)
Mommie we better brush our teeth or we will get crabby teeth- brookie ( cavities)
I think the campbell's factory guy was eating a sucker while canning my Chicken noodle soap...opened a can and part of a blue sucker came out:-)
"mom, I love sourcrap" -Brookie ( eating sauerkraut)
Thank you my sweet, loud Justin for pointing at the scary guy smoking in the grocery store parking lot. Then as we walked by him, thank you again for asking me if he is going to die soon from smoking.
Lukey woke up from a nap and I went in on my knees trying to sneak up on him. I Put my head against the bar and my mouth and noticed there was poo everywhere...even a little bit got in my mouth......the joys of being a mom!
Brookie age 3: She picks flowers and gives them to me. She then says here are your flowers to get married at the temple.
Ben was mowing the lawn and noticed two cute girls staring at him in a truck. He looks over and gives them a smile and says hey. One of the girls points and says he is cute. Ben looks and notices she is pointing at Justin with his little lawn mower with the biggest grin on his face.:-)
dad you are turning into a wolf, brookie age 2 (ben is getting his 6 oclock shadow)
Using a nursing pump and Brookie said,"moma what is your belly button doing?" Love her:-)
we were at walmart and Ben thought a lady holding up a dress was me. He told her that that dress would look good on her. She was puzzled and Ben was embarrassed. He told her she looked like his wife.
Justin: moma are you not going to church cause baby Jacob is not letting you fit in your church clothes? wow a charmer isn't he:-)
Justin:Ben and I were talking about flushing the fish down the toilet if he keep up not eating his food. The next day Justin tells me he will eat all of his breakfast so I wont flush him down the toilet.
Brookie 2: Brookie was about to jump a puddle and says "arriba"...I guess she watches too much Dora:-)
Justin 4: Hey Mom... Did you and dad go and do sealings at the temple? I said yes. He then asked me, did you guys paint them?thought cealings
justin 4: Mom how come your nipples look like pillows? ( my shirt was on)
We were walking home from the mailbox and my son turns to me and says,"mom, I have a tummy ache." He then makes a squeeze face and then poo starts to run down his leg. I guess after it was all out he says, "Now I feel better." ( Did I say it was great to be a mom :-) )
So Justin and I went on a walk and we saw a bird that got electrocuted and was dead on the ground. Justin asks me, “Mom, is he dead because he did not listen to his mommy and daddy?" I said "Yep, and that is why you need to listen to your mommie and daddy. :-)
Justin was pulling out my nursing pump and I asked him what he was doing....He told me he was thristy and he wanted to make him some milk........good luck with that one:-)
It is fun to see my 11 month old pick on my 3 year old. She will go and grab his toy and then she will lay on it so he can't get it. He will start crying and she will start laughing.
My son thought it was funny to keep unplugging my vaccuum and I told him if he did it one more time he would go sit in time out. Then, my vaccuum shuts down and I look over ready to put a little boy in time out and their is my baby girl with the biggest grin on her face with the vaccuum cord in her hands.
Justin goes to his dad and asks him to kiss his head that he bonked. Ben replies not right now and Justin lifts his mouth in the air saying, "But dad I can't reach it!"
Dada...your poop looks like a taco
"Moma you look cute!" -Justin tells me while I am getting ready for church
IF i am not looking at Justin when he is talking to me he will say "Mom! I have to talk to you!"
Justin comes up to me and touches my arms and says ," mom your arms have food in them."
Justin comes in after I went pee and starts dry heaving
Justin points to the temple, "Moma Jesus comes to the temple....moma Jesus comes to church sometimes too."
"Poop it out, poop it out...way out"- Justin's potty training song he likes to sing
Justin has my breast pump and he comes up to me with it attached to his belly button and says, "moma, I found your space ship."
"Dada, theres the moon." slight pause "Dada, it has a light in it"
Ben told Justin to stop shutting off the TV or he will go to bed. Justin goes up to the TV and turns it off and says, "Bye dadda, I go bed now!"
"...My brother was hit by one of those IUD's..." - This was Benny having one of those "Ben Moments" in which he was talking about his brother Sam's injury in Afghanistan. He was supposed to say IED, but I assure you he said IUD. The lady was very bothered about this supposed new technology hurting our troops!
