Family reunion, Zions, Swimming and more! Summer 2012

This summer has been a blast and I can't believe it is almost coming to an end.

Here are some of the things we did.....

 We stayed at a resort in St.George. Kids loved the swimming pools! It was definitely nice to cool off!

 We went to Zions and enjoyed to beautiful view!

Little updates

 Lukey is 7 months! 

He is such a sweetie and loves his family. He is crawling around and getting into everything. He doesn't like to sit still for very long, but he does have the cutiest smile and sweetest laugh. Lukey also loves mash potatoes and mac and cheese. He doesn't like baby food as much especially veggies.

 J-man loves his roller blades. He could stay in them all day. He is starting kindergarten in the fall and he can't wait. He is the social bug in our family. He loves meeting new people and  playing with friends.  Justin also loves to do yard work with Ben. Hopefully he will still like it when he gets older:-)

B

Brookie is our little mommie. She loves to help with Lukey and whatever I am doing around the house. She loves to dress herself as you can see her wonderful color choices. She loves to pretend she is a princess. She loves for mom to read her books and color.

Ben is loving his new job. He also loves having a nice office and the perks that come with it. He is definitely a happier guy!


As far as me goes, I am finally starting to loosing weight. It has been a long road and now that Ben can work 1 job, I can go running during the evenings.  So far I have lost 20 lbs in 2 months and my goal is  another 15 by July.  I know I can do it!

Even men need pampering:-)

Bennie is a good sport. I decided to take him to get his feet done at a spa for his b-day. He was hilarious and he enjoyed himself too much. He was just like one of the gals talking up a storm. He even got the ladies laughing. I love him and enjoy his sense of humor. Happy Bday sweetheart!

5 months

I can't believe 5 months have gone by. I love my kids and I am so glad Lukey has joined our family. He has been really fussy lately because he is teething. I am trying to endure. He does enjoy his feet being rubbed and he loves lots of attention!

People and Public

The longer I am married to Ben, the more I have become to be like him. (not a bad thing)One thing I have inherited from him is...I have a hard time with public sometimes and I feel like my patience is running thinner.....

Today I went to the gym and I left my keys in one of the machines. I went back and the lady said she just turned my keys into the front desk. I went to the front desk and told the gentleman sitting there a lady just turned my keys in. The guy said what is your name.( Thinking in my head why would you need my name) I told him my name anyway . He then said how many keys do you have on your key chain(again thinking how many people know how many keys they have on their key chain) I told him I didn't know and that they were just turned in. He went to the drawer reluctantly because it was effort to get out of his chair and then he asked if there was anything I could identify them with. I told him I have lots of shopping cards on them. He shifts through the draw for a couple of minutes. I told him, can I come back there and help you identify them. He gets this weird glare on his face like I said something so terrible, then he says no need to...there is only one set of keys in the draw. (Thinking YOU GOT TO BE kidding me!!You put me through all of that) I could have killed the kid:-)Well, now I feel better!
