A week with Nana

It was great to have Ben's mom with us for 10 days. Justin definitely loved having his Nana around. We tried to take her out and do a lot of stuff so she will come back again. We all really missed her when she left. Here are some pics of our week

Brooklyn's Blessing Day

Today was Brooklyn's Blessing Day. It was a really nice to have family come and be there for it especially Ben's mom( Nana) who flew in from Virginia. Ben gave a beautiful blessing. It was really special because our bishop gave us council to sit down and have a talk about what we would like to bless our daughter with. As he was given the blessing, I felt the spirit and a great love for my sweet daughter. Here are some pictures:

Now that I am not pregnant anymore, I want to loose my baby weight. My goal is 15 lbs by July 1st. I thought if I write it in my blog I will do better and work harder. Wish me luck!!!!!

Here is my plan:

Easter Egg Hunt

Today all the moms in our ward got together and had an Easter egg hunt in my backyard. It was really fun. Justin loved getting the eggs. He would find one egg, sit down and eat the candy, and then he would go find another.

Little things that make me giggle:

Here are two little stories for me to remember:

I told Justin to go sit on the potty while I changed Brooklyn's diaper. Justin then comes running in my room with excitement. Justin gives me a smile and says, "mom I went pee." He then shows me his toy dump truck full of pee and splashing everywhere. - I guess hes slowly getting potty trained.

We were all in the living room when Brooklyn started crying. We knew something was wrong because she doesn't cry very much. We noticed her hand was stuck pulling her hair. I guess she didn't know how to release her hand and she was getting frustrated. So we helped her and she stopped crying...poor thing.
