Our first family baseball game!

For my bday, Ben took me and the kids to a baseball game. It was a lot of fun!

Roommate Reunion

I was so blessed to have great roommates in college. We all got a long so well and we had so much fun together. I have so many wonderful memories with these gals. I am so glad we got together this past weekend for a reunion in Cedar City.

Friday:
We had fun making cards, eating, and chatting. We were able to share college stories and laugh. That night we went down to the Shakespearean Festival and saw The Music Man. It was awesome!

Sat:
We went for a hike up Kolob Canyon and went and saw a dairy farm. That night we all went out for dinner at Cafe Rio and then said our good byes.

One of my roommates husband manages a dairy farm. It was amazing to see what goes into milking a cow.

Posing in front of a milk truck.

We took a hike up Kolob Canyon. It was beautiful and the rocks were a gorgeous red behind us.

Brooklyn's new hair cut

I was a little nervous to take Brookie for her first hair cut today because she sees Justin get his and he screams the whole time I do it. When I asked her if she wanted to get hers done, she started balling. I decided to take her somewhere fun, Cookie Cutters. She loved it. She loved driving the car and watching cartoons. She even got a balloon for being a good girl!

My favorite Picture!

I love this picture. My kids are such a blessing and I love them so much!

July 4th

For the fourth we decided to get out of town and go to Delta. ( where my grandparents are from and now are passed away)

We stayed at the Deltan Inn ( my grandpa used to own and now my uncle runs)

The next morning we got up and got ready for the parade. The kids have so much fun filling their sacks full of candy. After the parade they had rides at the park. Brookie loved the horses and her dad was a good sport to get on one with her :-)

Later that day we went and saw the Topaz internment camp. This was really interesting to see. I guess a year after the attack on Pear Harbor, the government rounded up Japanese- Americans on the west coast and put them in internment camps. Most of them were innocent and were just locked up for their race and color of their skin. What a sad part of history that I didn't know about.

That night we saw fireworks and enjoyed each others company. It was fun to go back to Delta, a place I loved going as a kid!

Justin's T-ball

Ben and I were excited to sign Justin up for T-ball instead of Dance:-) . Justin did a great job and learned quickly how to hit the ball. He enjoyed trying something new and meeting new friends.

Ben volunteered to be the coach and did a great job. The kids loved his energy and loved having him as a coach. It was fun to watch Ben teach Justin new skills and get closer to his son!
