
I decided to take a spinning class to get in shape and loose more of my baby weight. Today was my first day. It was a little hard and your bottom hurts really bad but I am excited to continue and see the end results!
For those that don't know:
Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle called a spinning bike. As you pedal, motivating music plays and the instructor talks you through a visualization of an outdoor cycling workout: "You're going up a long hill now, you can't see the top yet.…" During the class you vary your pace -- sometimes pedaling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedaling slowly from a standing position. This helps you to focus inwardly and work on your mind as well as your body.
Spinning burns serious calories (about 450 in 45 minutes) and offers an awesome aerobic workout that makes your heart pump fast.

Good job! That sounds like a lot of fun. I wanted to start a spinning class but I don't know if my pregnant butt could handle it right now.
I would recommend buying a seat cover from Target/Walmart if you are going to do it more than once a week :) I had a sore bum until I bought one. Spinning classes are great workouts and it is quite the feat to finish one. I did one 2x/week, but stopped once I got morning sickness. Keep it up Stephers!
